No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the current law governing Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs) for public retirement systems.  The bill would add a "child support obligee" as a person who could be an alternate payee under a QDRO, allowing use of QDRO's to collect child support from retirement plan participants.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
