No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would provide that the Railroad Commission has authority to approve a gas utility's request to implement higher rates throughout the territory affected by a proposed change. The bill is not expected to result in any significant increase in costs to the Railroad Commission. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
