HB505 by Hilderbran (Relating to the discharge of a firearm across a property line; providing a penalty.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 62 of the Parks and Wildlife Code to create a Class C misdemeanor when a person knowingly discharges a firearm across a property line.  The bill would be take effect September 1, 2005.

New misdemeanor convictions for discharging a firearm across a property line may generate additional revenue.  However, no significant fiscal implication to the state is anticipated.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
