IN RE: | HB539 by Bohac (Relating to naming the circle drive around the State Capitol the George W. Bush Circle.), As Introduced |
The bill would rename the circle around the State Capitol the George W. Bush Circle. In addition, the bill would direct the State Preservation Board to design and construct markers indicating the name of the circle. Funding for this provision could be expended out of the Capitol Fund, a fund held outside the State Treasury, and is estimated to be approximately $15,000. The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in both houses; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2005.
