IN RE: | HB634 by Baxter (Relating to requiring public officials to receive training in the requirements of the open meetings and public information laws.), As Introduced |
The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) currently provides numerous training opportunities for government employees and officials. The passage of this bill will require the OAG to increase the number of training opportunities it provides. However, the OAG anticipates any clerical/legal work resulting from the passage of this bill could be reasonably absorbed with current resources. The bill would take effect January 1, 2006.
