HB649 by Krusee (Relating to participation by the Texas Department of Transportation in the cost of acquiring, constructing, maintaining, or operating a toll facility.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would remove the established ceiling of $800 million for money that may be granted by the Texas Department of Transportation for toll projects each fiscal year, excluding monies that would be required to be repaid.

Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Transportation, the provisions of the bill would have no fiscal impact to the state.

The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote of all of the members in each house.  If the bill does not receive a two-thirds majority vote of all of the members in each house, the bill would take effect September 1, 2005.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
