HB699 by McCall (Relating to prosecution and punishment of certain offenses relating to a driver's license or personal identification certificate.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code by making certain offenses relating to a driver's license a Class A misdemeanor instead of a Class B misdemeanor.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
