No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would extend the period of time allowed after opening a sealed proposal for certain construction services before a navigation district or a port authority would be required to evaluate and rank the proposals. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005 and would apply only to requests for proposals submitted on or after that date.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
