No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to issue temporary wind up permits for concentrated animal feeding operations which have had their permits revoked, allowing them to continue operating for up to six months. Any costs to the agency in implementing the bill would be absorbed using existing staff and resources.
