TO: | Honorable Steve Ogden, Chair, Senate Committee on Finance |
FROM: | John S. O'Brien, Deputy Director, Legislative Budget Board |
IN RE: | HB860 by Casteel (Relating to charitable contributions by state employees to certain General Land Office programs.), As Engrossed |
The bill changes the name of a state employee charitable program and adds Adopt-a-Beach to the list of eligible state employee charitable programs. If enacted, the bill would have no significant fiscal impact on the General Land Office as the additional revenue to the Adopt-a-Beach program is anticipated to be minimal.
The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in both houses; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2005.
