HB873 by Dukes (Relating to regulation by a property owners' association of certain displays on property in a residential subdivision.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would place restrictions on what a property owners' association may include in a restrictive covenant, rule, or other prohibition with regard to noncommercial displays. The bill would also authorize a property owner who prevails in an enforcement action to collect reasonable attorney's fees and court costs.

Property owners' associations are not a political subdivision.
