This bill would amend the Government Code to create an interagency work group on border issues.
The Water Development Board would be allowed to maintain and update an internet-based directory of border projects, also known as the Border Activity Tracker.
It is assumed that the responsibilities and duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be covered within existing state resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.
