No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends Election Code to decrease the population of a county in which candidates for nomination in the general primary election for the office of chief justice or justice of court of appeals pay a specified filing fee. No significant fiscal gain is anticipated because the change in law would affect only one county.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
