HB1047 by Chisum (Relating to the offense of failing to certify compliance of an underground storage tank before accepting delivery of the regulated substance to be stored in the tank.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would limit responsibility for providing a certificate of compliance to underground storage tank owners and operators. The bill also would add common carriers to parties who are not responsible for ensuring that an underground storage tank has a valid certificate of compliance.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
