LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 79TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

March 15, 2005

TO:
Honorable Mike Krusee, Chair, House Committee on Transportation

FROM:
John S. O'Brien, Deputy Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB1050 by Krusee (Relating to the sale of certain used trucks.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Transportation, it is assumed that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.  The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in both houses; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
