The bill would allow the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission to establish lower or waive hunting and fishing license fees for active military personnel located in Texas.
The maximum annual revenue loss represents less than 1 percent of the $111.6 million in annual revenue estimated to be deposited to the General Revenue-Dedicated Game, Fish and Water Safety Account No. 9 during the 2006-07 biennium.
