IN RE:
HB1103 by Villarreal (Relating to liability insurance for certain child-care facilities and child-placing agencies.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend sections of the Insurance Code relating to liability insurance for certain-care facilities and child-placing agencies.  Based on the analysis of the Department of Insurance and the Department of Family and Protective Services, it is assumed that any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.

This bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
