HB1106 by Howard (Relating to the repeal of the Public School Facilities Funding Act.), As Engrossed
This bill would repeal Chapter 1402 of the Government Code, the Public School Facilities Funding Act. This chapter provided statutory authority for the establishment and administration of the School Facilities Aid Fund. This program has never been funded in the appropriations bill, since it was enacted.
No fiscal impact to the state is anticipated as a result of repealing this Act, since no bonds have ever been issued under this program.
