No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow the Railroad Commission to make continuing education programs discretionary, rather than mandatory as under current law, for Compressed Natural Gas and Liquified Natural Gas licensees or registrants. No significant savings to the Railroad Commission is expected to be realized, even if the agency were to cease offering the educational programs.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
