No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill requires the Economic Development and Tourism Office within the Office of the Governor to establish an international trade council. The bill requires the council to develop, evaluate, and coordinate a cohesive international strategy to enhance this state's competitiveness and stature in the international market and submit a report on this strategy to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Speaker of the House of Representatives.
