HB1331 by Chavez (Relating to the authority of a junior college district to contract for the provision of certain services and resources under the Interagency Cooperation Act.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to include a junior college district to the definition of “agency.”  The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in both houses; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
