IN RE:	HB1386 by Bonnen (Relating to an exemption from the requirement to be licensed as an electrician for persons performing certain industrial work.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicates the provisions of the bill clarify existing exemptions and would not have a significant fiscal impact.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If the bill does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, the bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
