No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Occupations Code to no longer require the Private Security Board and the Department of Public Safety to issue licenses to individuals that work for employers that conduct investigations on persons who are not their employees and that are not on their premises. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.
