No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would exempt Prairie View A&M University from Education Code Section 86.23 (b) which allows the board of directors of the Texas A&M University System to change the name of the system or of any institution, agency, or service under the control and management of the board.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
