No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Section 25.02(a) of the Penal Code by including sexual intercourse between an individual and any person for whom the individual has been appointed to be a guardian as a condition for the offense of prohibited sexual conduct. The Office of Court Administration has determined that the cost of implementing the bill would not be significant.     

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
