HB1481 by Gattis (Relating to the offense of disobeying certain motor vehicle traffic warning devices.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to make it an offense for a person to drive around a barricade when it has been placed there to prevent the passage of motor vehicles over the road, street, or highway during construction, repair, or dangerous conditions.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
