No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would exempt interbasin water rights transfers within a particular regional planning area from certain junior water rights provisions in the Water Code. The bill is not expected to have a significant fiscal impact on the Water Development Board or any other state agency's budget.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
