No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Public Utility Commission indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

Municipally owned utilities that did not assist in providing the additional megawatts of generating capacity required by the bill would have to purchase emerging generation technology credits.
