No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Public Utility Commission indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

The Public Utility Commission does not anticipate a significant fiscal impact to local government as a result of this bill; however, the municipal franchise provisions of this bill may result in changes in municipal franchise revenue.
