No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would authorize certain counties to enact noise regulations and would establish that a violation of those regulations would be a Class C misdemeanor. Based on the two most recent federal decennial censuses, the parameters of the bill would apply only to Kaufman and Harris counties.
