Honorable Robert Duncan, Chair, Senate Committee on State Affairs
FROM:
John S. O'Brien, Deputy Director, Legislative Budget Board
IN RE:
HB1647 by Hughes (Relating to the appointment of a campaign treasurer and the filing of reports by a political party's county executive committee that accepts or makes a certain amount of political contributions or expenditures.), As Engrossed
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would increase the aggregate amount for political contributions that would require that a county executive committee file a campaign treasurer appointment and certain reports; therefore, the bill would apply only to requirements for political parties, not a governmental entity.
