No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to change the applicability of the Private Sector Prison Industries Oversight Authority from private sector prison industries programs in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the Texas Youth Commission, and county correctional facilities to all private sector prison industries programs in this state.
