No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the definition of "permit" under Section 245.001, Local Government Code to include a contract or other agreement for the construction or provision of service from a utility owned, operated or controlled by the regulatory agency, or other form of authorization." In addition, the bill would expand the purpose for which a local government may review an application for the permit.
