No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would stipulate that a county would not have to include in its report on the number of prisoners confined in the county jail the number of those who participate in a work release program. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005 and would apply to any report required to be submitted to the Commission on Jail Standards on or after that date.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
