HB1792 by Naishtat (Relating to conforming the law concerning the removal of a guardian of a ward to amendments made by the 78th Legislature.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow a court to remove any guardian who is appointed under certain circumstances, who fails to return within 30 days after qualification, unless the time is extended by order of the court, an inventory of the property of the guardianship estate and list of claims that have come to the guardian's knowledge.  The current law time period is 90 days.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
