HB1799 by Denny ( relating to a transfer and nonsubstantive revision of laws governing the holding of local option elections regarding alcoholic beverages.), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would remove local option elections statute from the Alcoholic Beverage Code and place it in the Elections Code. Nonsubstantive revisions would be made as well. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
