No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code and establish additional guidelines relating to reports filed with the Texas Ethics Commission. It is assumed that any additional duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

The bill would take effect on September 1, 2005.
