IN RE:
HB1812 by Hamilton (Relating to annexation and incorporation procedures for certain unincorporated areas in certain counties. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would apply to annexation authority within the unincorporated area located within the circumference of a circle, the center of which is the intersection of State Highways 87 and 12 in Newton County, and the radius of which is six miles.

Local Government Impact

Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
