HB1853 by Herrero (Relating to a consumer debt owed by certain military personnel called to active duty.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Finance Code to allow members of the state military forces and federal reserve forces to defer consumer debt collection in certain instances. The bill would take effect immediately if receiving a vote of two-thirds of all members of each house, or September 1, 2005. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
