HB1862 by Uresti (Relating to a plan for equitable distribution and funding of mental health services in this state.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

According to the Department of State Health Services, the General Appropriations Act for 2004-05 contained a provision requiring that equity in mental health service distribution and funding be reached by 2011.  This bill would require that equity in mental health service distribution and funding be reached by 2011.  According to the agency, there should be no fiscal impact associated with implementation of the provisions of this bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
