HB1895 by Eiland (Relating to the authority of an associate judge appointed by a court with family law jurisdiction.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as the Family Code to include as magistrates associate judges, who are appointed under Chapter 201, Family Code, by judges of courts with family law jurisdiction.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
