No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would repeal Sections 91.029 and 111.0552 related to rates at the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services. The bill would also repeal Section 111.0551 related to provision of medical services. The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission Executive Commissioner to adopt a rate schedule for medical services provided by DARS, including criteria for establishing the rate schedule. DARS reports there would be no fiscal impact to the agency.
