HB1937 by Ritter (Relating to the authority of certain counties to create county assistance districts.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would expand the criteria that a county must meet to be eligible to create a county assistance district. The result would be to authorize additional counties with a population of less than 45,000 to call for an election to create a county assistance district, if the county commissioners court so chooses.
