No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to health benefit plan coverage for detection and
prevention of osteoporosis.  Based on the analysis of the Department of Insurance and the Health and Human Services Commission, any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.

This bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
