HB2071 by Rose (Relating to the designation of U.S. Highway 281 as the American Legion Memorial Highway.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to design, construct, and erect markers designating the portion of U.S. Highway 281 as the American Legion Memorial Highway in accordance with the provisions of the bill.

 

Based on the analysis of TxDOT, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.
