TO:
Honorable Dennis Bonnen, Chair, House Committee on Environmental Regulation

FROM:
John S. O'Brien, Deputy Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB2129 by Bonnen (Relating to energy-saving measures that reduce the emission of air contaminants. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Since the legislation requires no clear action by any of the affected agencies, it is assumed that the agencies could implement the legislation with existing resources.

Local Government Impact

Costs to municipally owned electric utilities to implement the provisions of the bill would depend upon the customer-option program that is designed and distributed.
