No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Employees Retirement System and the Teacher Retirement System to ensure patient counseling from a Texas-licensed pharmacist is available for each participant in the Group Benefits Program administered by the Employees Retirement System, the Retired Public Education Employee Group Benefits Program administered by the Teacher Retirement System (TRS-Care), and the Public Education Employee Group Benefits Program administered by the Teacher Retirement System (ActiveCare) who receives mail order prescriptions.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
