No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Public Utility Commission indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

It is anticipated that there would be no direct local government impact as a result of the bill although
local tax bases in counties designated as competitive renewable energy generation (CREG) zones
could increase with the development of more renewable energy generation projects.
