No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would delete the reference to breast cancer in the informed consent materials regarding abortion produced by the Department of State Health Services. The agency indicates that such changes can be incorporated into the fiscal year 2006 printing of brochures, and any costs associated with the change could be absorbed within existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.
