IN RE:
HB2380 by Farabee (Relating to the filing of personal financial statements by officers and employees of certain municipalities.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require a municipal officer or a candidate for municipal office in a municipality with a population of 350,000 or more to file a financial statement with the city secretary or clerk. Under current statute, this requirement applies to a municipal officer or candidate for office in a municipality with a population of 100,000 or more. Provisions of the bill would remove the financial statement filing requirement from officers and candidates for office in a municipality with a population between 100,000 and 350,000.
